Welcome to the Pink Room!

The Pink Room serves infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months and is designed to provide a calm, nurturing, and developmentally responsive environment during your child’s earliest months. Our infant program prioritizes secure attachment, responsive caregiving, and individualized routines. Teachers focus on meeting each baby’s needs for feeding, sleep, movement, and comfort while supporting early physical, sensory, and social development through safe, age-appropriate experiences.

We recognize that infants develop at their own pace. Our caregivers closely follow family guidance and individual cues, creating a consistent and reassuring environment where babies feel safe, supported, and well cared for throughout the day.

A Day In The Pink Room

A typical day in the Pink Room is intentionally flexible and guided by each infant’s individual routine rather than a rigid schedule. The day begins with warm greetings as families arrive, followed by on-demand feedings, diaper changes, and rest as needed. When awake, infants engage in supervised floor play, tummy time, and gentle sensory experiences that support early motor development and exploration.

Throughout the morning and afternoon, caregivers provide one-on-one interaction, talking, singing, reading, and responding to infants’ cues. Older infants may participate in supported sitting, crawling practice, or pull-to-stand activities as developmentally appropriate. Outdoor stroller walks are offered when weather permits to provide fresh air and environmental stimulation.

Midday and afternoon periods include additional feedings, naps, and quiet play based on each child’s needs. The day winds down with calm activities such as rocking, soft music, and books, while teachers prepare belongings and share updates with families at pick-up.
