Welcome to the Orange Room!

In our 2- year-old classrooms, we focus on helping children build independence, language skills, and social-emotional awareness through play-based learning. Our teachers support each child as they begin to express themselves, explore routines, and interact with peers. Daily activities are designed to encourage curiosity, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging. We provide a warm, consistent environment where children feel safe to grow, take small risks, and develop at their own pace.

A Day in the Orange Room

A typical day in the Orange Room begins with a warm welcome and a morning snack to help children settle in and fuel up for the day ahead. Afterward, children explore play centers and enjoy independent play before gathering as a group for songs, stories, and morning routines. Outdoor time provides space for movement and physical activity, followed by lunch and a restful nap. The afternoon includes creative activities like sensory play or art, as well as group games, storytelling, and a second snack, ending with closing circle and outdoor or choice play before pick-up.
