Welcome to the Blue Room!

In our 3-year-old classroom, we nurture growing independence, imagination, and early problem-solving through hands-on, play-based learning. At this age, children are developing a stronger sense of self and beginning to form deeper relationships with their peers. Our teachers guide children as they expand their vocabulary, ask questions, and explore new ideas. Daily routines offer a balance of structure and choice, helping children feel confident and capable. We foster a joyful, inclusive environment where each child is encouraged to express themselves, build friendships, and prepare for the next steps in their learning journey.​​

A Day in the Blue Room

A typical day in the Blue Room is filled with exploration, creativity, and connection. Children ease into the morning with free play and hands-on learning centers, followed by group time where they sing songs, share stories, and build classroom community. Outdoor play is a daily highlight, offering space to move, explore nature, and practice cooperation. Meals and rest time provide opportunities to recharge, while the afternoon includes sensory experiences, art projects, and engaging group activities. Throughout the day, our teachers create a warm, structured environment that supports each child's growth in confidence, independence, and social-emotional skills.
